Geordie Emerges From Stealth With $6.5M for AI Agent Security Platform

Geordie has emerged from stealth with $6.5 million in funding for a platform designed to help enterprises address the security risks associated with the use of agentic AI. The London-based company aims to give organisations deep visibility into AI agents and what they are doing, offering real-time visibility and alerts when unexpected behaviour is detected, while tracking adoption, usage patterns and risks.

Geordie was founded in early 2025 by cybersecurity and AI experts who previously held leadership roles at Darktrace and Snyk, with its seed round led by Ten Eleven Ventures and General Catalyst and participation from angel investors. Henry Comfort, the co-founder and CEO, said the platform is purpose-built for agents and balances innovation with security, providing tools aligned with enterprise policies and external frameworks to foster safe AI adoption. according to SecurityWeek.
