ZAST [.]AI announced the completion of a $6 million Pre-A funding round on 5 January 2026 in Seattle, USA, bringing its total funding to around $10 million. The round was led by Hillhouse Capital, illustrating strong investor confidence in a platform promising zero false positives through automated PoC generation and validation. In 2025, ZAST[.]AI identified hundreds of zero-day vulnerabilities across open-source projects, with 119 CVE assignments submitted through platforms such as VulDB.
The company asserts that its production-grade findings are verified by running PoCs and that major adopters include Fortune Global 500 organisations, whose patching has begun based on ZAST[.]AI’s PoCs. According to The Hacker News, the funding will fuel core technology R&D, product feature expansion, and global market development as ZAST[.]AI aims to deliver an end-to-end AI-driven security platform with high-quality security assurance at lower costs.
