Celebrating reviews and recognitions for Malwarebytes in 2025

According to AVLab Cybersecurity Foundation, Malwarebytes earned another Advanced In-The-Wild badge in 2025 after testing 244 real-world malware samples across 14 cybersecurity products, with Malwarebytes Premium Security detecting every sample and averaging a 2.18 second remediation time, nearly 12 seconds faster than the industry average. That result marked our third Excellent badge in 2025, following tests in July and September.

Earlier in the year, Malwarebytes Premium Security was named Product of the Year for the third consecutive year after blocking 100% of in-the-wild malware samples. The company also secured AV-Analyces’ Android 360° Certificate for the seventh consecutive time in November, noting near-perfect Android threat protection.

In addition, PCMag’s Readers’ Choice Awards saw Malwarebytes win in multiple categories, Digital Trends named Malwarebytes for Windows a 2025 Recommended Product, and CNET recognised Malwarebytes as Best Malware Removal Service 2025. AV-Comparatives and the Electronic Frontier Foundation collaboration later highlighted Malwarebytes’ 100% detection rate in a September 2025 stalkerware test.
