Portal26 Raises $9 Million for Gen-AI Adoption Platform
Portal26 has announced a $9 million Series A round for its Gen-AI adoption management platform, bringing the company’s total funding to $15 million. The round was led by Shasta Ventures, with additional support from Fusion Fund and an unnamed venture, and Portal26 was founded in 2019 in California.
The platform provides organisations with visibility into gen-AI consumption and can be used as a standalone product or in integration with other systems to detect, analyse, secure, and optimise gen-AI usage, helping establish governance from the start. Portal26 continuously benchmarks usage, detects shadow AI and risks, and enables security policies across environments, including guardrails to prevent data leaks and supports adoption management, risk scoring, audits and business case discovery.
“We are excited to partner with Portal26 and to provide the resources and support needed to accelerate its growth. As the first and leading GenAI Adoption Management Platform, its innovative approach to finding GenAI in the enterprise, securing it, and enabling measurable ROI, is a great example of the kind of leadership and creativity we seek to back,” according to Shasta Ventures managing director Jacob Mullins. The company plans to use the fresh investment to accelerate growth and advance product innovation.
