Prime Security Raises $20 Million to Build Agentic Security Architect

Prime Security has announced a $20 million Series A funding round to advance its Agentic Security Architect, an AI-powered platform described as autonomously conducting security design reviews and proactively identifying design flaws across development work. Founded in 2023 and based in New York with offices in Tel Aviv, the company says it is already working with high-profile customers, including PayPal, Qualtrics, Bumble, ThoughtSpot, and Redis Labs.

The round was led by Scale Venture Partners, with participation from Foundation Capital and Flybridge Ventures, according to Scale Venture Partners. Prime Security was a winner of the Black Hat 2025 Startup Spotlight this summer, and the funding supports expanding its continuous, automated security assessment of planned work to help security teams focus on strategic architecture.

SecurityWeek reports the news on 9 December 2025, with the company emphasising that its platform provides visibility across the engineering ecosystem to identify and address risks earlier in the software development lifecycle.
