Indurex Emerges From Stealth to Close Security Gap in Cyber-Physical Systems

INDUREX , a Netherlands-based cybersecurity startup that specialises in protecting cyber-physical systems, emerged from stealth mode on Tuesday, according to SecurityWeek. The company was founded by Jalal Bouhdada, who serves as CEO, and Maarten Oosterink, who is COO, with Bouhdada having previously founded Applied Risk, which was acquired by DNV in 2021.

Indurex’s platform uses AI and data collected from OT and IT systems to protect critical infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial operations, ingesting and correlating data across the cyber-physical stack with a focus on industrial historians, instrumentation and asset management systems, alarm management, and OT network and endpoint data.

It can be integrated with third-party OT security solutions and aims to unify cyber, process, and safety context into a single operational view, using adaptive risk scoring to highlight issues and prioritise response actions. Bouhdada told SecurityWeek that the company is preparing a pre-seed funding round and remains bootstrapped and lean until the round closes.
