Edamame releases runtime guard to halt AI coding agent code drift

Edamame Technologies has introduced a new security solution to address the risks associated with AI coding agents, which can diverge from their intended function, leading to potential security breaches. This phenomenon, known as code drift, can cause agents to perform unauthorized actions, sometimes due to attack-induced modifications. Edamame's runtime security system comprises six key modules that facilitate runtime verification and attack-pattern detection, enhancing the safety of coding environments.
