BOOZ Allen Hamilton today announced the general availability of Vellox Reverser, an AI-powered malware reverse engineering and threat intelligence product designed to accelerate cyber defence. The release notes that the product, built with a resilient agentic AI architecture, rapidly automates in-depth malware analysis to deliver actionable intelligence and deployable countermeasures at machine speed, and is now widely available to both federal and commercial customers.
A limited preview introduced in 2025 added Binary and Function Similarity Matching, enabling comparisons against a database of prior malware analyses to reduce investigation time and reveal links to broader campaigns. In an evaluation of a single sophisticated malware sample, Vellox Reverser completed analysis in minutes, evaluating more than 120 functions and flagging 39 as malicious, then generating a report with indicators of compromise mapped to the MITRE ATT&CK framework and accompanying defensive measures.
Booz Allen built the tool using AWS Lambda and Amazon Bedrock, with orchestration provided by AWS Step Functions, and it is now available with a 30-day trial and demo options. February 12, 2026.
