Security Analytics Firm Vega Emerges From Stealth With $65M in Funding
Vega, an Israeli security analytics and operations company, emerged from stealth to report $65 million in funding across seed and Series A rounds, according to SecurityWeek. The investors announced are Accel, Cyberstarts, Redpoint, and CRV, with Vega describing its platform as a more efficient alternative to traditional SIEM solutions.
The platform uses AI to help security operations centre teams create detections, surface relevant data, and map and fix coverage gaps and noisy rules, enabling in-place data analysis. Vega was founded in 2024 by Shay Sandler, the CEO, and Eli Rozen, the CTO, both veterans of Israel’s 8200 cyberwarfare unit, who subsequently worked at Intel’s Granulate.
The company states its platform is already used by Fortune 500 firms, banks, and a major healthcare organisation, as it seeks to outpace threats with faster detection and response. according to SecurityWeek
