Pixel 10 Exclusive: Google Maps Launches Power-Saving Navigation Mode for 4-Hour Battery Boost

Google has introduced a new Power-Saving Navigation Mode for its Pixel 10 series, including Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. This feature, designed to extend battery life by up to four hours during navigation, presents a simplified monochrome interface that displays essential map elements and trip details while minimizing power consumption. It operates in portrait mode and can be accessed even when the screen is locked.

Users can revert to the full-color interface with a tap or power button press. The feature is enabled by default but can be disabled in Google Maps settings. Currently, it is exclusive to the Pixel 10 series, with no announcements regarding availability for earlier models or other Android devices.
