Vectra AI Launches Partner Programme to Tackle AI Era Threats

Vectra AI announced Vectra AI Ascent on 15 September 2026, a global partner programme intended to help customers respond to increasingly complex security environments and the growing use of artificial intelligence by attackers. The company said attackers are operating at machine speed and exploiting identities, legitimate credentials, cloud services and trusted tools, increasing demand for visibility into where AI is active and for better results from existing security technologies.

The programme brings together solution providers, managed security service providers, systems integrators, distributors, cloud partners and technology alliances. It is organised around four activities: co-selling through joint planning and technical validation; co-marketing through campaigns and events; co-delivery through implementation, consulting, managed services and customer success; and co-innovation through integrations and new services.

Vectra AI said partners can progress through three tiers — Basecamp, Elevate and Summit — with increasing benefits and joint investment as their business grows.

The announcement was presented as a business and partner initiative rather than a report of a specific cyber-attack or confirmed exploitation. Vectra AI said the programme aims to help organisations identify security gaps, modernise security operations and strengthen resilience, while maximising existing technology investments.

GuidePoint Security’s Mark Thornberry said the programme would support services and expertise intended to reduce exposure and accelerate response, although the announcement provided no independent evidence or figures showing security outcomes from Ascent.
