FRENCH cybersecurity startup White Circle today announced raising $11 million in seed funding from multiple angel investors. Founded in 2025, Paris-based White Circle has built a platform that functions as a control layer for AI, unifying safety, evaluation, and optimisation. The AI control platform monitors all AI inputs and outputs to identify risks such as hallucinations, harmful content, prompt injection attacks, abuse, and model drift.
White Circle performs scans based on organisation-defined policies, enabling security teams to monitor and understand AI model behaviour, secure agents, and control them. The solution can identify sensitive customer data leakage, can block AI agents from performing malicious actions, flag and ban abusive users, and identify model failures. It also enables security teams to enforce policies. According to White Circle, its AI models improve over time, becoming more accurate, with support for 150 languages.
The startup will use the fresh funding to accelerate product development, hire new talent across the US, UK, and Europe, and expand its customer base.
