EC-COUNCIL has expanded its AI certification portfolio with the Enterprise AI Credential Suite, launching four new role-based AI certifications alongside Certified CISO v4, in what is described as the organisation’s largest single portfolio expansion in 25 years.

The four new credentials are Artificial Intelligence Essentials (AIE), Certified AI Program Manager (CAIPM), Certified Offensive AI Security Professional (COASP), and Certified Responsible AI Governance & Ethics (CRAGE), and they sit with the revamped Certified CISO v4 programme to address AI-driven risk.

The move is framed as a response to the global AI risk exposure of about $5.5 trillion and a projected US reskilling gap of 700,000 workers, aiming to align workforce readiness with AI adoption and governance needs. According to EC-Council, the initiative mirrors how AI capability is developed in practice, using the ADG framework to guide adoption, defence and governance. The initiative also follows DoD 8140 baselines and ties into executive AI education priorities outlined in recent policy and industry reports.
