THERE are insider breaches, and then there are fourth-degree felonies and other possible charges if public records are destroyed improperly or without a lawful purpose, according to the article. KVIA in New Mexico reports that the City of Anthony released a letter to KVIA stating the previous administration had allegedly committed wrong-doings and that the city is seeking state and federal intervention.

It also states irregularities related to timecards and payroll practice. In the letter, the City alleges that the Anthony police department had devices locked and wiped clean, and that access to what the City considers critical information was not turned over to the current administration.
