Free access to Cloudflare developer services for non-profit and civil society organizations
Cloudflare has announced that non-profit, civil society and public interest organisations are now eligible to join Cloudflare for Startups, with credits of up to $250,000 available for a range of developer and core products. According to Cloudflare, the application period opens today and runs until 1 December 2025, after which applications will be reviewed by Cloudflare’s Impact and Startup teams to select a cohort of eligible organisations.
The programme emphasises that both non-profits and startups face similar constraints and aims to help small teams write code, build applications, and launch ideas globally, at no cost where possible. Since the startup programme began during 2024’s Birthday Week, more than 4,000 startups have received free credits, and since 2024, 175 startups in 23 countries have participated in the Workers Launchpad Programme.
One example cited is Kendraio, a non-profit building an open-source integration platform, illustrating how such organisations can leverage Cloudflare’s tools to scale securely and efficiently.
