The Scam That Won’t Quit: Malicious “TradingView Premium” Ads Jump from Meta to Google and YouTube

Bitdefender researchers have identified a persistent malicious campaign that began on Facebook Ads, promoting "free access" to TradingView Premium and other financial platforms. This campaign has expanded to Google and YouTube, posing risks to users and content creators. The scam involves hijacked Google Ads and YouTube accounts, where attackers impersonate TradingView by using official branding and verified badges to gain trust. Malicious ads redirect users to malware downloads aimed at stealing credentials.

The malware is sophisticated, featuring anti-detection capabilities and multi-stage infection processes. Users are advised to be cautious of ads promising free premium tools, check channel authenticity, and report suspicious content. Content creators should implement strong security measures to protect their accounts from being compromised.
