CredShields Joins Forces with Checkmarx to Bring Smart Contract Security to Enterprise AppSec Programs
According to CyberNewsWire, CredShields and Checkmarx have joined forces to bring smart contract security to enterprise AppSec programmes, uniting Checkmarx’s AppSec leadership with CredShields’ Web3 focus. The partnership, announced for Singapore on 19 November 2025, aims to extend enterprise security into decentralized ecosystems by combining AI-assisted auditing and blockchain security research with Checkmarx’s platform.
CredShields, a Web3 security firm, will provide dedicated support for decentralized environments as part of the collaboration, which seeks to enable organisations to extend their existing DevSecOps pipelines into Web3 with minimal friction.
The report notes that the enterprise AppSec market is expanding toward an expected US$55 billion by 2029, while vulnerabilities in smart contracts remain a critical concern—research indicates up to 89% of smart contracts contain vulnerabilities and losses from cryptocurrency service hacks in 2025 have surpassed US$2.1 billion. The partnership also emphasises joint contributions to global security frameworks, including OWASP Smart Contract Security Standards and the Smart Contract Top 10.
