Sweet Security Raises $75 Million for Cloud and AI Security

Sweet Security, the Israeli cybersecurity startup, announced a $75 million Series B funding round, bringing its total raised to $120 million. The round was led by Evolution Equity Partners, with additional support from Glilot Capital Partners, Key1 Capital, and Munich Re Ventures. The company, founded in 2023 by a retired Israeli army CISO, offers AI-powered security solutions for cloud and AI, including an AI Security Platform that can expose shadow AI and detect prompts and misconfigurations in real time.

Sweet Security plans to use the investment to accelerate global expansion and product innovation, building on capabilities that target the runtime CNAPP segment and real-time threat detection and remediation. The news follows earlier milestones, including emergence from stealth in August 2023 with $12 million in funding and a $33 million Series A raised in March 2024.
