Introducing free access to Cloudflare developer features for students

Cloudflare has announced free access to its developer features for students, with 12 months of free access for eligible student accounts in the United States who have a verified .edu email address. According to Cloudflare, the offer covers Workers, Pages Functions, KV, Containers, Vectorize, Hyperdrive, Durable Objects, Workers Logpush, and Queues, enabling students to build APIs, full‑stack apps, data pipelines and websites.

After the 12 months, accounts can be renewed by upgrading to the Workers Paid plan, or they will revert to the free plan if they choose not to upgrade. In addition to the free access, students gain a dedicated Discord channel for community support and collaboration. The post notes the program is the first step in Cloudflare for Students, with plans to expand support beyond the United States as the initiative grows.
