GOOGLE released Chrome 151, addressing 370 vulnerabilities, including seven critical-severity bugs involving use-after-free issues and input validation flaws. The update fixes 71 high-severity defects, including various types of vulnerabilities like race conditions and policy bypasses. Additionally, 170 medium-severity and 122 low-severity vulnerabilities were patched. A significant portion of the vulnerabilities (30) impacted ANGLE, the WebGL backend used by Chrome. Google credited researchers for 21 issues and paid $58,500 in bug bounties this round, contributing to over 1,800 vulnerabilities fixed since January.
