Tudou Guarantee Marketplace Halts Telegram Transactions After Processing Over $12 Billion
Tudou Guarantee Marketplace, a Telegram-based guarantee marketplace, appears to be winding down its operations after a period of rapid growth, according to Elliptic. The blockchain intelligence firm said Tudou Guarantee effectively ceased transactions through its public Telegram groups, with the marketplace estimated to have processed over $12 billion in transactions, making it the third-largest illicit marketplace of all time.
Other parts of Tudou Guarantee, such as its gambling operations, reportedly continue to function, leaving open whether this marks a full shutdown or a pivot away from fraud-related activity, according to Elliptic. Elliptic’s findings also note that Tudou Guarantee had become a leading platform, prompting merchants who previously sold via HuiOne Guarantee to migrate to Tudou Guarantee, offering stolen data, money laundering services, and fraud infrastructure among other illicit tools.
The report links the shutdown to recent law enforcement actions against Cambodia’s Prince Group and its CEO, Chen Zhi, who was arrested and extradited to China earlier in January 2026.
