Nextcloud phishing redirect

NEXTCLOUD , an open-source cloud software, experienced a cyberattack on July 20th, resulting in a phishing redirect to a fraudulent site named Cloudbox. Initial investigations linked the breach to a potential WordPress vulnerability known as wp2shell, raising concerns over the security of user data. Despite the attack, Nextcloud has not confirmed any breaches or data leaks, clarifying that customer data is stored on separate servers. The website was temporarily taken offline for repairs, and services remained largely unaffected.
