Sonesta International Hotels Implements Industry-Leading Cloud Security Through AccuKnox Collaboration
Sonesta International Hotels has partnered with AccuKnox to deploy Zero Trust Integrated Application and Cloud Security, including ASPM and CNAPP capabilities for Microsoft Azure, as part of a multi-cloud security refresh. The collaboration, announced from Menlo Park, USA on 2 December 2025 by CyberNewsWire, aims to provide a unified cloud-native security platform that strengthens protections across runtime, configurations and DevSecOps workflows.
Sonesta conducted a comprehensive proof of concept before selecting AccuKnox for features such as multi-cloud misconfiguration detection, focus on toxic combinations, continuous compliance visibility against CIS, SOC2 Type II, NIST, MITRE and PCI, and a consolidated view of SAST, DAST and IaC security integrated with Azure DevOps.
The arrangement also targets a reduction in engineering effort, with the vendor reporting a 45% decrease due to automation of findings and ticketing lifecycle, and Gartner guidance emphasising CNAPP for cloud-native security. Nat Natraj, co-founder and CEO of AccuKnox, and David Billeter, Cybersecurity Leader at Sonesta, are quoted praising the partnership and the platform’s capabilities. According to AccuKnox, Inc., the collaboration seeks to align Sonesta’s security strategy with zero-trust principles to safeguard multi-cloud assets.
