Brava Security Launches With $15 Million in Seed Funding
Brava Security has emerged from stealth with $15 million in seed funding, led by F2 Venture Capital and Pitango VC, with participation from several angel investors, SecurityWeek reports. The Tel Aviv-based startup, founded in 2024 by Idan Basre (CEO) and Itay Gabbay (CTO), describes its AI-enabled platform as focussing on modelling attacker behaviour.
It simulates attacks to generate telemetry and then uses that data to identify security gaps, rewrite SIEM detections and support deeper investigations, according to the company.
Brava claims its approach addresses a gap where AI agents typically cannot investigate threats they have not detected. The platform is said to integrate with more than 70 sources and destinations and requires no changes to existing security infrastructure. Initial insights are reported within 10–15 minutes of onboarding. Brava intends to use the funding to accelerate product development and market expansion, with R&D based in Israel and a commercial team in the United States, per the article. Basre and Gabbay emphasise that the hard part is anticipating what an attack will look like in a given environment before it happens.
