THE NCSC has issued an alert advising UK organisations to review their cyber security in light of ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Although there hasn't been a significant direct cyber threat from Iran, there is an increased risk of indirect threats for organisations connected to the region. The NCSC recommends actions such as adjusting security postures, increasing monitoring, and reviewing external attack surfaces, especially for those with operations or supply chains in the Middle East.
It also encourages signing up for the Early Warning service and consulting guidance provided for physical security risks. Organisations are urged to report any concerning activity.
