JACOB Butler, a 23-year-old from Ottawa, was arrested by Ontario Provincial Police and is facing extradition to the U.S. He is accused of participating in significant cyberattacks that impacted over one million devices globally. OPP's cybercrime team has been investigating two major botnet operations, KimWolf and Aisuru, linked to some of the largest DDoS attacks recorded.
