Canon Says Subsidiary Impacted by Oracle EBS Hack

Canon has confirmed that a subsidiary was targeted in the recent Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) hacking campaign, but the incident was limited to a web server and no data has been leaked. Other companies affected include Cox Enterprises, which reported a compromise of personal information for about 9,500 individuals, and Mazda, which found no evidence of data leakage. Over 100 organizations have been named as alleged victims by the Cl0p ransomware group, with many being major companies across various sectors.

The UK's National Health Service is investigating the situation but has not confirmed a data breach. The threat actor FIN11 is believed to be behind the attacks, which may have exaggerated the scope of the breaches.
