Copilot Connector Feature Unlocked: Microsoft AI Can Now Search and Integrate Google and Microsoft Cloud Data

The Daily CyberSecurity reports that Copilot for Windows has a new feature called “Connector” in version 1.25095.161.0, which users can enable from the settings page. Connector lets users link data from Microsoft OneDrive, Outlook Mail, Contacts and Calendar, as well as Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts, permitting cross‑account access.

After authorisation, you can use natural language prompts to search across multiple accounts at once, for example to find meeting invitations from last week or attachments from a specific contact. The update also adds document generation and export capabilities, enabling Copilot to create and export Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and PDFs on request.

When responses exceed 600 characters, an export button appears to transfer content to Word or PowerPoint for further editing, and the feature is being rolled out to Windows Insider testers in phases via the Microsoft Store. Microsoft envisions Copilot as a unified workspace across services and accounts, turning it into a more personalised digital companion.
