OSAVUL , a hybrid risk intelligence company, has secured $10 million in a Series A funding round led by 33N Ventures, with Balnord, G+D Ventures, and 42CAP also participating. The Luxembourg-based startup says the funding will help expand its AI platform, which analyses both open and privileged data to identify hostile intent across cyber, physical, and information domains before attacks materialise.

The system purportedly traces who is targeting a customer and maps that intent against the customer’s people, facilities, and supply chains, with assessments that are evidence-traced and reviewed by human analysts. Osavul emphasises that its software can run on premises within sovereign infrastructure so sensitive data does not leave customer environments.

The company notes growing “hybrid activity” from adversarial states and proxies, describing attacks that blend cyber operations, sabotage, espionage and information manipulation. It claims more than 150 state-linked incidents have been recorded across Europe since 2022. Osavul says its technology was developed during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and now serves government, defence and security organisations in more than 10 countries, including involvement in NATO’s Information Environment Assessment Capability.

The fresh capital is earmarked to enhance AI capabilities, broaden adoption across enterprises and critical infrastructure operators, and deepen work with government and defence sectors.
