ACCORDING to SecurityWeek, Israel-based Copperhelm has raised $7 million in seed funding for its agentic cloud security platform, emerging from stealth mode. The funding round was led by TLV Partners, with participation from ToDay Ventures, Icon, SaaS Ventures Israel, and several angel investors. Copperhelm was founded by Shimon Tolts, Eyar Zilberman, and Roman Labunsky, who previously held leadership and senior technical roles at Unity, McAfee, and RSA.
The company describes an agentic platform where AI agents autonomously monitor cloud environments, investigate threats, and execute remediation in real time, anchored by a real-time decision layer called the Context Lake that structures and connects cloud data across environments. The platform deploys AI agents focused on network analysis, system inspection, adversary simulation, and automated remediation, connecting to live workloads to map topology and deploy protections such as WAF rules without downtime.
