AI Security Firm Polygraf Raises $9.5 Million in Seed Funding
According to SecurityWeek, Polygraf AI announced on 29 October 2025 that it has raised $9.5 million in a seed funding round to advance its AI security solutions. The round was led by Allegis Capital, with participation from Alumni Ventures, DataPower VC, Domino Ventures and others, and will be used to improve the product and support go-to-market efforts.
Polygraf AI has developed proprietary small language model technology designed to help organisations detect and mitigate AI risks, including preventing leakage of personal and proprietary information, detecting AI-generated or manipulated content, and helping maintain GDPR, HIPAA and other regulations compliance.
The platform can detect when personal or confidential information is exposed by employees in chats with an AI model, scan files for data exposure, redact sensitive data in documents, and authenticate prompts and calls with a provenance layer to deter deepfake fraud. CEO Yagub Rahimov described the mission as delivering a private, small, local, explainable and trustworthy AI for sensitive missions.
