HoundBytes Launches Automated Security Analyst

HoundBytes, a Romania-based cybersecurity consultant and MDR firm, has launched WorkHorse, an automated security analyst designed to replace the repetitive work of Tier 1 SOC analysts. According to SecurityWeek, the solution easily integrates with an organisation’s SIEM system and begins transforming raw alerts into fully contextualised information within minutes, aiming to cut alert fatigue to zero and reduce case triage time from hours to seconds.

WorkHorse uses a machine learning algorithm based on a multi-graph approach and is stateless, and it was developed initially as an internal project to solve Tier 1 alert overload before becoming a standalone product with its own customer base. Pricing is set at a flat $3,500 per month for up to 10,000 alerts, with additional charges on a per-alert basis for higher volumes.

Corîci, the co-founder and CEO, told SecurityWeek that the firm is preparing for a funding round to grow R&D, engineering, AI capabilities and sales across Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East.
