Gambit Cyber Raises $3.4 Million in Seed Funding

Gambit Cyber has announced a seed funding round of $3.4 million, led by Expeditions with participation from Bitdefender Voyager Ventures. Founded in 2024 and based in Leiden, the Netherlands, the cybersecurity startup has built KnightGuard, an AI-native preemptive threat exposure management platform.

According to Gambit Cyber, KnightGuard uses AI agents to provide a real-time view of an organisation’s security posture and integrates with existing security solutions to identify, prioritise and address vulnerabilities. The company says the fresh funds will be used to expand its engineering team, add more AI agents, and accelerate expansion across Europe, the UAE, and Asia-Pacific, with its platform already adopted by enterprises and MSSPs in financial services, telecoms and critical infrastructure.

It also aims to build strategic partnerships with MSSPs, telecoms providers and cloud platforms. The funding round was reported on 22 December 2025.
