Key findings include: 84% feel that video evidence no longer serves as proof, and 85% find it hard to distinguish scams from legitimate content, marking an increase from 66% the previous year.
Additionally, 50% have encountered AI-related fraud, and 19% reported experiences related to AI-driven identity harm. Despite concerns, many users accept AI for personal tasks like writing wedding vows or improving dating profiles. The report underscores the need for vigilance in navigating an increasingly artificial online environment.
