Ukrainian police arrest trio behind Roblox account theft ring

Hackers stole over 610,000 Roblox accounts, including valuable 'elite' accounts, generating around $225,000 from their sale. The Ukrainian authorities arrested three suspects involved in distributing malware disguised as game enhancements to steal login credentials. Users are advised to run anti-malware scans and change passwords if they have been affected. Immediate actions include clearing browser history, enabling two-step verification, and reaching out to Roblox support if accounts are compromised.

To prevent future thefts, users should use unique passwords, keep software up-to-date, and be cautious about downloading third-party tools associated with Roblox.
