Nudge Security Raises $22.5 Million in Series A Funding

According to SecurityWeek, Nudge Security today announced raising $22.5 million in Series A funding, bringing total raised to close to $30 million. The round was led by Cerberus Ventures, with participation from Ballistic Ventures, Forgepoint Capital, and Squadra Ventures. Founded in 2021 and based in Austin, Texas, Nudge Security has built a platform focused on securing AI and SaaS at what it calls “the Workforce Edge,” with earlier seed funding of $7 million in April 2022 and an official launch in October 2022.

The company says the fresh investment will be used to accelerate product innovation and expand its go-to-market efforts. Nudge Security’s solution provides automated, policy-based protections that address identity security gaps and give visibility into apps, users, and integrations, including non-human identities. The narrative from its leadership emphasises securing workforce AI use at scale across the SaaS ecosystem, including non-human identities and vendor weaknesses.
