OPERATION KRATOS, coordinated by Europol and involving 13 countries, dismantled nine illegal streaming crime groups and resulted in 29 arrests over seven months from September 2025 to April 2026. Key actions included the removal of over 27,000 illegal streaming URLs and the identification of 86 additional suspects, along with the exposure of significant risks to users engaging with these services.
The operation marked a strategic shift by targeting not just individual websites but the entire criminal infrastructure supporting illegal streaming, enhancing cross-border cooperation among law enforcement and private sector partners.
