Aembit Introduces Identity and Access Management for Agentic AI
According to CyberNewsWire, Aembit has launched Identity and Access Management (IAM) for Agentic AI, extending its Workload IAM Platform with capabilities designed to securely govern how AI agents identify themselves and access sensitive systems.
The release introduces Blended Identity, which gives each AI agent its own verified identity and, when needed, binds it to the human it represents, and the MCP Identity Gateway, which authenticates the agent, enforces policy at runtime, and performs token exchanges to securely retrieve access permissions for connected resources.
The system records every access decision and maintains attribution across both human-driven and autonomous agent activity, enabling least-privilege access and immediate revocation when required. Aembit IAM for Agentic AI assigns cryptographically verified identities, issues ephemeral credentials, and centralises policy control to ensure auditable actions as enterprises deploy agentic AI at scale.
“Enterprises want to say yes to agentic AI, and they’re asking Aembit for ways to securely grant agents access to data and applications,” said David Goldschlag, with further remarks from Kevin Sapp on real-time authentication and control.
