Agentic Evolution: Lenovo Unveils “Qira” and AI Cloud Gigafactories at CES 2026

During CES 2026, Lenovo used its Tech World event at Las Vegas’s Sphere to unveil a sweeping “Hybrid AI Advantage” roadmap, centred on Lenovo Qira, a personal AI super-agent service that runs across Lenovo PCs and Motorola smartphones.

The company also announced an enterprise partnership with NVIDIA, inaugurating the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory, which uses NVIDIA’s Blackwell Ultra architecture and Rubin computing platform paired with Lenovo’s Neptune liquid cooling to enable gigawatt-scale AI compute, with the NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 system combining 72 Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 Grace CPUs in a single liquid-cooled rack.

Lenovo’s AI strategy includes the Agentic AI tools and the xIQ delivery platform for the full lifecycle of AI agents, alongside consumer concepts such as the ThinkPad Rollable XD, Lenovo AI Glasses, and Project Kubit. The event also highlighted sports collaborations, including Neptune liquid cooling deployed at the F1 Media & Technology Centre in Biggin Hill, UK to support broadcasting signals and AI analytics, and FIFA’s Football AI Pro for real-time tactical insights.

The launch emphasised Lenovo’s shift towards AI solutions across devices and environments, with the Qira system enabling natural-language interaction and proactive workflow orchestration. According to Jensen Huang, the collaboration underscores a push to accelerate deployment velocity and energy efficiency in high-end AI deployments.
