Google’s Nano Banana Pro Model Solves AI Image Text Rendering with Gemini 3 Pro

Google’s Nano Banana Pro model, built atop Gemini 3 Pro, is pitched as addressing AI image text rendering, a long-standing challenge for the field. The article notes that one of its defining strengths is the ability to render text accurately and with striking clarity, whether a short slogan or a long paragraph. According to the company, Nano Banana Pro’s text-handling capabilities are exceptionally powerful, supporting diverse fonts, textures, and typographic styles with broad multilingual support.

The model also includes built-in image-editing tools to select, refine, and transform regions of an image for localised adjustments, and it can export revised images at 2K or 4K resolution. Enhanced detection capabilities are provided to distinguish AI-generated content from authentic imagery, relying primarily on SynthID markers, and all generated images display a visible watermark.

Within the Gemini app, users can access Nano Banana Pro after enabling the “thinking” feature, with free users given a limited quota and paid subscribers enjoying larger quotas before returning to the standard version.
