The site’s usual minimalist “leak” page offers a download button for each victim, yet the downloads deliver infinite streams of random data, with no real internal emails, spreadsheets, or social security numbers. The trick, the article notes, is that the group’s servers are likely piping a stream of /dev/random straight into the user’s browser, meaning the whole presentation is white noise rather than authentic data. The report labels the operation a scam built entirely on noise.
