EMPHERE , a Seattle-based cybersecurity startup, has secured $2.1 million in pre-seed funding to develop an AI-driven vulnerability remediation platform. Their solution focuses on addressing vulnerabilities found in various software components, emphasizing that responsibility lies with the vendor. Emphere’s platform analyzes software dependency graphs, allowing for safe and confident remediation on a large scale.
The startup aims to facilitate developers in swiftly patching vulnerabilities without compromising existing systems. Co-founder Ankit Kumar noted that traditional remediation methods are struggling with increased volumes of vulnerabilities, making AI a viable solution. Proceeds from the funding will aid in customer acquisition and platform enhancement.
