A recent phishing campaign targets marketing professionals by impersonating major companies like Netflix, Coca-Cola, and FIFA. Scammers utilize fake job interview requests and display fraudulent Google sign-in pop-ups within the phishing sites. These attacks bypass detection by masking URLs through trusted services. Reports indicate at least 34 domains have been created to facilitate these scams, which have been active for about five months.
To protect against such scams, users are advised to avoid links in unsolicited job offers, use password managers, and ensure they have updated anti-malware software. Malwarebytes' Scam Guard can also help identify these threats.
