Defy Security Appoints Esteemed Cybersecurity Leader Gary Warzala to Its Board of Directors

Defy Security has announced the appointment of Gary Warzala to its Board of Directors, with the company describing him as an esteemed cybersecurity leader. Warzala brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, having served as Chief Information Security Officer at Visa Inc., PNC Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Aon Corporation, and GE Aviation, and most recently as an Executive Partner with Gartner, Inc.; he is currently Managing Principal at CyberRisk, LLC.

As a board member, he will provide oversight, governance, and strategic counsel while meeting with existing and prospective customers to help realise the value of Defy Security’s offerings. Warzala also serves on the boards of First Financial Bank in Cincinnati, OH, and the Indiana Golf Foundation in Indianapolis, IN, and was inducted into the CISO Hall of Fame in 2022; he holds an MBA from Xavier University and a BS from Utica College of Syracuse University.
