ServiceNow Buys Armis for $7.75B, Gets 'AI Control Tower'
ServiceNow has agreed to acquire Armis for $7.75 billion in an all-cash deal, with closing expected in the second half of 2026 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, making it the largest purchase by the IT service management provider to date and its fourth cybersecurity acquisition in the past year.
The move is part of ServiceNow’s push to build autonomous cybersecurity and a unified security stack by pairing Armis Centrix’s asset visibility across IT, OT, IoT, and medical devices with its AI-powered Control Tower and exposure-management aims. Armis, founded a decade ago by Yevgeny Dibeov and Nadir Israel, focuses on discovering and inventories billions of connected assets to secure their entire attack surface, and earlier this year was valued at about $4.2 billion after eying an IPO.
The deal also leverages joint customers such as Colgate-Palmolive, JPMorgan Chase, Merck, Mondelēz and United Airlines, enabling a tighter integration with ServiceNow’s CMDB to map assets to services and processes. According to CNBC, Bill McDermott described the combination as extending the platform’s security context and embedding cyber-exposure management into the Now Platform, reinforcing the aim to see, decide and act across the technology footprint.
