New in Syteca Release 7.21: Agentless Access, Sensitive Data Masking, and Smooth Session Playback
Syteca has rolled out release 7.21, adding agentless access, real-time sensitive data masking, and smoother session playback to its platform, with the aim of boosting visibility and control over internal security while reducing IT overhead. The update introduces real-time sensitive data masking that obscures confidential information such as passwords, credit card numbers, or personal IDs during live sessions and recordings, helping support compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
It also enables web-based remote sessions via RDP for Windows or SSH for Linux/Unix directly in browsers, eliminating the need for agent installation and updates. Full-motion capture of on-screen activity records continuous videos of user sessions, and each session is encrypted for security, providing more detailed audit trails and faster incident investigations.
The release also features an intuitive UI redesign intended to streamline daily security tasks, as Tom Oleg Shomonko, CEO of Syteca, noted that the update enhances visibility and control over internal security, while reducing IT overhead, according to CyberNewsWire.
