iPhone 17: A Pro-Level Experience for Everyone

The iPhone 17, unveiled as a continuation of the iPhone 16 in design, adds a host of upgrades powered by the new A19 processor. It features ProMotion display technology with refresh rates up to 120Hz on a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display, and an always-on mode enabled by its 1Hz lowest refresh rate.

The device offers a peak outdoor brightness of 3,000 nits, a slimmer bezel design, and Ceramic Shield 2 glass with up to three times the scratch resistance of its predecessor, alongside a 16-core Neural Engine for AI tasks. The camera system remains dual-lens with upgraded 48MP wide and ultra-wide sensors, while the wide-angle can output 12MP telephoto shots and the ultra-wide supports 12MP macro photography; the front-facing camera gains an 18MP square-format sensor and Centre Stage.

Preorders open today, with general availability beginning on 19 September 2025, and pricing starts at $799 USD, with storage options from 256GB up to 512GB.
