Update your Apple devices to fix dozens of vulnerabilities

Apple has released security updates for iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TVs, and Macs, as well as Safari and Xcode, to fix dozens of vulnerabilities that could allow cybercriminals to access sensitive data, according to Apple Newsroom. The update package includes version 26 across all platforms, with fixes for two notable CVEs: CVE-2025-43357 in Call History, which could be used to fingerprint a user, and CVE-2025-43327 in Safari, where visiting a malicious site could lead to address bar spoofing.

Apple notes these issues are addressed in macOS Tahoe 26, iOS 26, and iPadOS 26, as well as in other supported releases, and provides updated build numbers for various devices such as iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and visionOS. The guidance also covers steps to update on iPhone or iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV, and advises ensuring devices remain connected to power and the internet during the process.

The article also mentions that you can enable Automatic Updates and directs readers to read Apple’s update instructions for specific versions like iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, macOS Sequoia 15.7, and macOS Sonoma. 16 September 2025.
