CLOUDFLARE has announced that coding agents can provision Cloudflare accounts, purchase domains, and deploy applications on production without human intervention, using a new protocol co-designed with Stripe as part of Stripe Projects. Starting today, agents can create accounts, start paid subscriptions, register domains, and obtain an API token to deploy code immediately, with humans able to grant permission if needed but not required for the flow.
The system integrates three components—Discovery to query the catalog of services, Authorization to attest user identity and provision resources, and Payment to provide a token and set a default spend limit of $100.00 USD per month—so agents can build and bill without exposing users’ raw credit card details.
This approach enables any platform with signed-in users to act as the Orchestrator, provisioning Cloudflare resources for end users and returning tokens to the agent, in a standard that, Cloudflare notes, could be extended to other providers. The post, dated 30 April 2026, also highlights a Stripe credits offer for new startups and invites further platform integrations as the protocol evolves.
