Terra Security Raises $30 Million for AI Penetration Testing Platform
Terra Security has announced a $30 million Series A funding round, bringing the total raised by the Tel Aviv-based startup to $38 million. The round was led by Felicis, with additional support from Dell Technology Capital and SVCI, and comes as Terra plans to expand its AI-powered offensive security offering to cover more enterprise attack surfaces.
Founded in 2024, the company has developed an agentic-AI-powered continuous penetration testing platform that operates with a human-in-the-loop and aims to deliver context-aware testing aligned with real-world threats. Terra says its solution uses a swarm of AI agents that run thousands of tests tailored to each organisation’s profile, and the startup intends to extend its capabilities with AI-based red teaming.
Former Google CISO Gerhard Eschelback has joined Terra’s board of directors, as the company states it will use the funding to hire new talent, improve its AI agents, and scale customer adoption.
